After A Short Break...

...I picked up my brushes and did some fashion type illustrations. There is a whole batch of them on a sketchbook, but I keep forgetting it in my car.
Personally, I find water-soluble media (inks, watercolor, and gouache especially) more capable of delivering these kinds of drawings/paintings better. I've seen really cool ones in pen, pencil and marker but there is something about your control over the consistency of paint that can't be matched. Sigh. I love gouache!

It was nice to meet you, Carl! Your stuff is great. I'm glad I asked to see more than just stickers ;)

Thanks Arthur. It's gouache, but I like faking a watercolor look often. Did you paint with acryclic at Otis? Coz gouache is kinda like acryclic too...

Can't wait to see your stuff, Rochelle! Gouache is amazing. Respect.

Thank you, so is your work Chris! Reeeally cool stuff you got.

Thanks Saul! Man, we should hang out soon.
